Hi Cami, as you already know, I was in Crofton and visited with all the family. I greatly missed seeing you there, but I know you were with us, Sweetie. We got drenched on the "Cam Power" out on the Chesapeake, and Julia got a little queazy. You know how she does. I know you heard us talking about all the funny things you did and said. There's no doubt that you are wowing them in heaven, the way you continue to wow us down here. I love you, Aunt Diane

Hi Cami, I stopped by to see you yesterday; I hope you like the flowers. I'll be sure to visit often as they will need water to grow. I saw your cousin Emma Marie Cameron on Saturday and saw your twinkle in her eyes. She helps me to deal with your absence; but the void will never be completely filled. I love you and miss you terribly, Uncle Gary.

I hear this song on the radio and I think about little Cam and what all you guys have been through. I have heard about her through many people and she was an amazing little girl.Just know God will hold her hand in the streets of heaven.

Hello God, it's me again. 2:00 a.m., Room 304.
Visiting hours are over, time for our bedside tug of war.
This sleeping child between us may not make it through the night.
I'm fighting back the tears as she fights for her life.
Well, it must be kind of crowded,
On the streets of Heaven.
So tell me: what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever.
But right now I need her so much more.
She's much too young to be on her own:
Barely just turned seven.
So who will hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven?

Tell me God, do you remember the wishes that she made,
As she blew out the candles on her last birthday cake?
She wants to ride a pony when she'd big enough.
She wants to marry her Daddy when she's all grown up.

Lord, don't you know she's my angel
You got plenty of your own
And I know you hold a place for her
But she's already got a home
Well I don't know if you're listenin'
But praying is all that's left to do
So I ask you Lord have mercy, you lost a son once too

And it must be kind of crowded,
On the streets of Heaven.
So tell me: what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever.
But right now I need her so much more.
Lord, I know once you've made up your mind,
There's no use in beggin'.
So if you take her with you today, will you make sure she looks both ways,
And would you hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven.

Carol, BJ and family,
My heart breaks for you with your loss of your angel. Cami has brought so much to our community and united people from all walks of life. It has been so touching and heartfelt to follow her "adventure" and so tragic to hear of her losing her fight. It amazes me to see the support from so many people who may or may not have known her or your family. Thank you for sharing her with us and for allowing us to celebrate her life with that beautiful mass and slide presentation. I really felt like I knew her though I had only met her a few times. She will always be loved and missed- never forgotten.
